The lesson plan is your healing. Rooted + Ready Healing Circles are sacred, confidential spaces for educators to breathe deep, unpack the weight, and reconnect to purpose. Guided by trained facilitators, each circle blends soul work with strategy—whether we’re naming burnout, battling imposter syndrome, or setting sacred boundaries. It’s not therapy; it’s community care wrapped in love, truth, and just the right amount of edge. Come as you are, leave lighter.

Background:

Teachers wear many hats. They are the super heroes without capes. Teachers are educators, wizards, nurses, social workers, actors, data managers, counselors, researchers, security, and the police all rolled into one. Teachers have big hearts and give much to their students, families, and school. The compensation includes a low salary, little to no support, and a shallow benefits package. Often, the work they do goes beyond work hours without extra pay, and little respect or gratitude. It is for this reason, many teachers go through disillusionment, burnout, and change careers. For students to reach their full potential, develop healthy behaviors, and have learning gains, they need a teacher who is strong in content, behavior management, cared for, and most of all is sane and healthy.

As a pillar in the Rooted + Ready Teachers Collective, The Healing Circle serves as an oxygen mask for teachers as they unpack their emotions, fears, and burnout triggers. These sessions are confidential and nurturing. The sessions allow participants to share their experiences, build trust, and get feedback. The healing takes place in knowing that there are other teachers out there who have gone through similar scenarios, can relate, know that they are not alone, and gaining liberation through advice and feedback.
